Oral-B Pro 1000 vs Pro 5000: My Comparison

So, if you’re wondering how the customer favorite Pro 1000 would match up to the perfectly mid-range Pro 5000, you’ve come to the right place!

• 10 day Battery: The Oral-B Pro 1000 boasts of a battery that’s fairly long. Once fully charged it would work for 10 days considering an average use of about twice a day for 2 minutes each.
• Pressure Sensor: The Oral-B Pro 1000 boasts of a pressure sensor but not a pressure indicator. It powers down the motor when it senses that you’re brushing too hard, but it does not really have a visual indicator for you.
• Charging Indicator: The Oral-B Pro 1000 also comes along with a charging indicator-in fact, this is the most affordable model that provides you with this feature, making this a go-to model for a lot of people!

• 5 cleaning modes: The Oral-B Pro 5000 certainly provides you with a fairly high level of functionality and efficiency and this becomes evident from the fact that this model provides you with 5 cleaning modes- the same as the Oral-B Pro 7000. What are the differences between these two?

These two models, as you might have already noticed, have quite a few differences between them. While one of them is among the bestselling models, the other one is actually a perfectly mid-range model that provides you with quite a few notable features.

The main differences between these two models might be explained as:

• Brushing modes: The Oral-B Pro 1000 comes along with only a single 3D brushing mode while the Oral-B Pro 5000 comes along with 5 brushing modes for you to choose from, giving you a much higher level of functionality and adaptability.
• Pressure Indicator: The Oral-B Pro 1000 comes along with a pressure sensor that reduces the work of the motor when you apply too much pressure but it does not have a pressure indicator. The Oral-B Pro 5000, on the other hand, comes along with a pressure indicator as well.
