Oral-B Electric Toothbrush Reviews (All 14 Models!!)
September 1, 2020
Post in editing.
Here are the current models in the Oral-B line of electric toothbrushes.
The “Pro” Line
The most commonly sold Oral-B electric toothbrushes come from the Pro line. They consist of the 500, 1000, 3000, 5000, 6000, and the 7000. There are other models sold under intermediary number sequences too but they are largely just variations of the aforementioned model numbers.
The pricing for these main models vary widely and as you go up the line you get a lot more features but for the vast majority of people the Pro 1000 is probably all they need or want and its priced low enough to justify buying it for its benefits.
Even still you get some serious benefits by dropping more coin so let’s look at each model individually.
>> Oral-B Pro 500 – Commonly Priced Around $30
This is the entry level Pro electric toothbrush. It is very low in cost but it does just about every basuic thing you want the toothbrush to do. It changes heads with all Oral-b brush heads, has a two-minute timer, and even includes the 30-second pacer to help you brush all parts of your mouth equally.
For most people it’s a toss up between this toothbrush handle, the Vitality, which costs barely less, and the slightly more feature rich and expensive Pro 1000. Honestly it’s a hard decision because the three options are so similar and the pricing differences aren’t that big.

The “Genius” Line
>> Oral-B Genius 8000 – Commonly Priced Around $180
The “Vitality” Line
For the time being as of mid-2018 Oral-B is only making one Vitality toothbrush but selling it with one of two different heads. You can buy the Vitality with either the Floss Action head or the Dual Clean head.
Despite the fact that this may cause minimal confusion you should know that no matter which one you buy the toothbrush motor or handle will be exactly the same and you can use any Oral-B head you want.
If you want something that doesn’t come with the power handle then buy a different head and it’ll work just fine.
If you do want to use one of the included heads then make sure to buy the handle that comes with that head.
