The Oral-B Pro 3000 VS Pro 5000: The Differences
The Oral-B Pro 3000, as you might have seen, is a slightly more basic version as far as the Pro 5000 is concerned. While their prices, at the full price range, are pretty close, there are still quite a few things that set these two models apart.
The main things that you need to keep in mind when choosing between these two models are these:
- Number of Brushing Modes:The Oral-B Pro 3000 offers you with 3 brushing modes while the Oral-B Pro 5000 offers you with five. If you’re looking for a higher level of functionality and adaptability, you’d probably be better off with the Pro 5000.
- Battery Life: If you hate to charge your toothbrush too often, then you’d probably be better off with the 10-day battery life of the Pro 5000 as opposed to the 7-day battery life of the Pro 3000.
- Colors to choose from: The Oral-B Pro 3000 offers you two colors to choose from as opposed to the single color that the Pro 5000 offers you with. If you want to get a little more customization as far as aesthetics are concerned, the Oral-B Pro 3000 is worth checking out.
- Travel Case: The Oral-B Pro 3000 does not come along with a Travel-case while the Pro 5000 can easily boast of it. So, if that is something you’re looking for, the Pro 5000 is certainly worth checking out.
- Cost: These two models, as you might have already noticed, are not too far apart in terms of price. However, as a whole, the Oral-B Pro 3000 is actually a little cheaper than the Oral-B Pro 5000.
Conclusion
As ElectricTeeth beautifully puts it,
Oral-B’s model range works in such a way that the higher the model number, the more feature rich it is.
As such, it comes as no surprise when we find that the Oral-B Pro 5000 is actually more feature-rich as well as more expensive than the Oral-B Pro 3000. (Click here to view it on Amazon)
However, the Oral-B Pro 3000 is also almost a mid-range model and provides you with quite a few features. As such, if you’re on a slightly more conservative budget than the Pro 5000 is worth, then the Oral-B Pro 3000 would easily be the best choice for you. (Click here to view it on Amazon)
