How long should it take to charge your toothbrush?

Well, one of the first thing that you might want to ask is how long it might exactly take to charge your toothbrush. Well, in the right condition, your toothbrush should take somewhere between 14 to 22 hours to charge properly.

Quoting Oral B,

Depending on which model you have, your Oral-B electric toothbrush should take between 14 and 22 hours to fully charge the brush, and should last for between 5 and 12 days of brushes (when brushing twice a day, for 2 minutes each time). If your brush is not charging or lasting this long there are a few tips you can try.

That is, assuming that you don’t unplug and using it in the middle, of course! And once that’s done, you can go ahead and use your electric toothbrush without having to worry about it too much for a while again.

Know your variables that might decide how often you might have to charge it

Well, there are naturally quite a few things that would decide how often you might have to charge your oral b electric toothbrush.

One of the main things is the duration for which you use it. The standard times that oral b mentions are assuming that you’d be using it for 2 minutes twice every day. However, that might not always be the case- even I personally use it for a little longer than that, so that’s something that might lead you to having to charge it a little more often.

Another thing is also the health of the  battery because all these figures are assuming that you have a mint condition battery. Naturally, it might lose a little bit of its efficiency as it grows older, so that’s something you need to take account of as well.
